Thieves oil is a very old recipe with an interesting back story.  It was said that Four thieves would go from house to house robbing the bodies of those who had succumbed to the plague, all a while never themselves getting sick. When they were finally apprehended, they were offered leniency if they revealed their secret to warding off the plague. This combination of Cinnamon oil, Clove oil, Eucalyptus oil, Lemon oil and Rosemary acts as a powerful antiseptic, and smells wonderful!
